You oughta be in pictures!

I took this test on Blogthings to see what type of writer I should be.

You Should Be a Film Writer

You don't just create compelling stories, you see them as clearly as a movie in your mind.

You have a knack for details and dialogue. You can really make a character come to life.

Chances are, you enjoy creating all types of stories. The joy is in the storytelling.

And nothing would please you more than millions of people seeing your story on the big screen!

I think it would be fun to write films. But could I put up with the eccentric personalities of some actors, producers and directors? Hmmm.

LOL, LuAnn. As the writer, you wouldn't have to worry about the actors, director, producers. They just want you to write the script, and if they even allow you on the set, you stand in a corner with tape over your mouth. :-)

That's a joke. But seriously, the writers usually have no part of the production unless they are the writer/director/producer.

You commented on one of my posts on the Book View Cafe blog (thanks), so I came to your site to see what you wrote about, saw the test, and couldn't resist taking it. I have to admit, I thought it was a little too simple, but it told me I should be a science fiction writer. And, as it happens, I am a science fiction writer!

Thanks, Maryann and Nancy, for stopping by!
Maryann: Even if I weren't on the set, it would drive me nuts to have someone else messing with my words.
Nancy: I envy your ability to write sci-fi. I don't have enough imagination for that. I have too much of the journalist in me, I guess.
